1. We offer about 20% of a book's original price as an in-store credit. The credit is like a gift certificate that you can use towards the purchase of another book in the shop. The credit we give depends on the book's condition, its popularity and how many other copies we have already. Sorry, but we don't pay cash for books.2. If you're bringing hundreds of books at one time, give us a call at 705-746-4731 so we know you're coming. It can be hard for us to look at large quantities of books when we're really busy.
3. Please understand if we can't take everything you bring in. Sometimes we already have several copies of a particular title. Books can be hard to sell if they are damaged, mouldy or smell bad. Readers Digest condensed books, encyclopedia sets and outdated textbooks are best left at home. We generally have more hardcovers than we can handle.
